Terms of Service

Last updated: April 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Crewfolk platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including contractors who purchase leads ("Contractors") and homeowners who submit service requests ("Homeowners"). References to "you" apply to whoever is using the Platform in that context.

2. The Crewfolk service

Crewfolk is a lead marketplace. We collect service requests from homeowners and make them available to contractors for purchase on a pay-per-lead basis. We are not a party to any agreement between a Contractor and a Homeowner. We do not guarantee that any job will be awarded, that a homeowner will hire anyone, or that a lead will result in revenue.

Crewfolk reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Contractor accounts

To register as a Contractor, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Hold any licenses, insurance, and certifications required by applicable law to perform the services you list
  • Maintain the accuracy of your account information

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Wallet, top-ups, and lead purchases

Contractors fund a Crewfolk wallet to purchase leads. By topping up your wallet, you authorize Crewfolk to hold those funds on your behalf for the purpose of lead purchases.

  • The minimum wallet top-up is $50.
  • Wallet balances do not expire.
  • When you accept a lead, the stated lead price is immediately deducted from your wallet balance. This transaction is final.
  • You will not be charged for a lead you did not actively accept.
  • Crewfolk does not auto-bill or set up recurring charges of any kind.
  • Unused wallet balances are refundable on request, subject to our Refund Policy.

5. Lead exclusivity

When a Contractor accepts a lead, that lead is assigned exclusively to that Contractor. No other Contractor will be charged for, or given access to, the same lead. Crewfolk does not sell the same lead to multiple Contractors simultaneously.

Lead availability is not guaranteed. Leads are distributed on a first-accept basis and may expire if not accepted within the review window.

6. Contractor obligations

By accepting a lead, you agree to:

  • Contact the homeowner promptly — within 24 hours of acceptance
  • Represent your business, qualifications, and pricing honestly
  • Hold valid licenses and insurance for the work you perform
  • Not use homeowner contact details for any purpose other than fulfilling the service request
  • Not resell or share homeowner contact details with third parties

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Submit false or fraudulent service requests
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate lead access
  • Attempt to circumvent the lead payment system
  • Harass, threaten, or misrepresent yourself to homeowners
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content or data
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of wallet balance without refund.

8. Homeowner submissions

Homeowners who submit service requests represent that the information provided is accurate and that they are genuinely seeking the service described. Fraudulent or spam submissions are prohibited. Crewfolk reserves the right to remove or void any submission suspected of being fraudulent, and to take appropriate action against the submitter.

9. Limitation of liability

Crewfolk is a marketplace and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service performed by a Contractor. We make no warranty that leads will result in jobs, revenue, or any particular outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crewfolk's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to Crewfolk in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform — including text, design, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to Crewfolk. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Account termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, unused wallet balances will be refunded within 14 business days, unless the account was terminated for violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered Contractors. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Crewfolk is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
